First Friday Workshop: Social annotation research roundup

In this workshop, the Hypothesis team will review some of the latest scholarship on social annotation and how it contributes to student learning. We will read and annotate articles together using Hypothesis. Join this interactive conversation to learn more about the evidence supporting the efficacy of social annotation. After reviewing and discussing the research, the Hypothesis team will present practical applications for your courses based on the research findings. Think of this as an opportunity to discuss the affordances of social annotation with a professional learning community and brainstorm how to translate those findings into reality.
